Enjoy your visit to this clean and friendly family-run bed and breakfast personally supervised by Kristine, Andrew and Joanne Livingstone, who offer you a warm welcome to St Georges. Our rooms feature free Wi-Fi and flat screen tv's. Home cooked breakfasts are served every morning in our traditional dining room.

There is free parking available either on the road directly outside or in our private enclosed car park. Our Bed & Breakfast is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Tadcaster Road (A1036) which runs alongside York's beautiful racecourse.

It is around a ten minute walk to the Micklegate bar, the royal entrance to the city, and the ancient walls surrounding it. You can walk round the walls and get amazing views of York's ancient Minster. From the city walls it is a further 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre with its many varied places of historical interest and wonderful selection of independant shops & boutiques. If you are feeling less energetic there is a bus stop a 2 minute walk away, with a regular bus service to all parts of the city.

St George's is ideal for all visitors whether here for pleasure or on business. We are well placed for touring the area with easy connections onto the A64 for east coast routes to Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Moors and also the A59 for the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate.
